The H.E.R. Collective is LDERF’s new philanthropic giving society.
Candidates do not suddenly become prepared leaders on the day they announce a campaign. Long before Election Day, women need access to education, research, leadership preparation, and networks, as well as opportunities to understand public service. That is the role of LDERF. It invests in the preparation behind public leadership. Through LDERF, donors help equip women not to simply run, but to lead, serve, and shape their communities effectively.

WHAT IS LDERF?
The Leadership, Development, Education, and Research Fund (LDERF) is NWPC’s charitable, educational arm. It is a 501(C) (3), so gifts are tax deductible. It supports nonpartisan leadership development, civic education, and research.

This is the meaning of the H.E.R. Collective: to honor women’s leadership, educate future leaders, and represent women in public life.
A new philanthropic program for the National Women’s Political Caucus, H.E.R. supports LDERF, with a laser focus on powering the next generation of women leaders.
Women’s representation in public life depends on sustained investment in education, research, leadership preparation, and civic participation. H.E.R. Collective members provide the philanthropic resources necessary to build a more inclusive leadership pipeline.
