Statement on the Passage of the Epstein Transparency Bill

By November 20, 2025No Comments

(November 20, 2025 – Washington, D.C.) The National Women’s Political Caucus (NWPC) acknowledges that, after years of delay and resistance, Congress has finally passed the Epstein Transparency Act—and that President Trump has now signed it into law. This is a long-overdue step toward accountability. For survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse, and for all survivors of sexual violence, today’s moment is a recognition of their truth, their courage, and their fundamental right to transparency and justice.

“Survivors have been asked to carry the weight of silence for far too long,” said NWPC President Deidre Malone. “This legislation is a critical step toward truth and accountability. We owe survivors our full commitment to ensuring that justice is no longer denied.”

This law’s enactment marks a meaningful shift. Transparency is not optional—it is essential. Survivors deserve a system that respects their voices over the protection of powerful individuals. NWPC remains dedicated to ensuring that these files are released fully and promptly, and that everyone involved is held accountable without exception.
