(Washington, DC – Jan 8, 2026) The National Women’s Political Caucus (NWPC) mourns the killing of Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old mother, who was killed while exercising her fundamental right to protest. Her death is devastating and unacceptable. ICE’s presence and aggressive tactics continue to escalate harm and endanger lives.
“Renee Nicole Good was a mother and a community member exercising her constitutional right to protest,” said NWPC President Deidre Malone. “ICE’s pattern of violence and intimidation has no place in our communities. We demand accountability and justice for Renee and her family.”
We call for a full, transparent investigation into Renee Nicole Good’s killing and stand in solidarity with her family and all those demanding justice. Peaceful protest is a cornerstone of our democracy and essential to building lasting change. We urge demonstrators and leaders alike to remain committed to nonviolence. Violence will only give the Trump administration and its allies an excuse to discredit our demands for justice and accountability.
