(Washington, DC – May 23, 2025) The National Women’s Political Caucus strongly condemns the Republican budget passed by the House, which strips healthcare from 14 million Americans, slashes vital programs women depend on, and greenlights the largest upward transfer of wealth in generations.
This is not about balancing the books. This is about imposing a cruel vision of America where corporate greed comes at the expense of those most vulnerable. Women will be among the hardest hit – from single mothers trying to make ends meet, to caregivers, to the countless women who rely on affordable health care and social safety nets to survive.
We will continue to sound the alarm, mobilize our members, and demand that the Senate stop this heartless legislation in its tracks. We’re watching. We’re organizing. And we will remember who voted to sell out America’s working families.
