Charlotte’s commitment to community is equally impressive. As President of the National Women’s Political Caucus Greater Pasadena Area (NWPC GPA), she has tirelessly advocated for women to recruit, train and elect to public offices. In her tenure, she organized monthly chapter meetings with high-profile elected and women leaders as speakers, adding significant value to the organization’s membership and Executive Leadership Board of Directors while managing the day-to-day operations of NWPC GPA. Through her leadership, NWPC GPA’s membership grew from 35 to over 125 members, and she organized successful annual fundraisers to support the organization’s financial goals. Charlotte has also served as Chair of the City of Pasadena’s Commission on the Status of Women, championing issues such as pay equity, homelessness, the rights of women veterans, and anti-human trafficking efforts.

Her dedication to service extends to several additional organizations. Charlotte is a board member of Peace Over Violence, where she volunteers to combat sexual and domestic violence and provide crisis intervention and prevention services. Her influence and leadership are further seen in her board roles with the YWCA Pasadena, the Pasadena Junior League Advisory Board, Grandparents as Parents, the Pasadena Police Foundation, and the Pasadena Tournament of Roses.

Charlotte’s election for the Tournament of Roses Executive Committee highlights her strategic leadership capabilities. As an elected member, she participates in setting day-to-day policies and business affairs, engaging in public relations, sponsor relations, government interactions, and leadership development. Her efforts ensured the continued growth and success of the Tournament of Roses and its mission for the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl.
