Alliance

Help us gain strength in numbers.

We were founded by strong women. We are led by strong women, and we endorse and support strong women for elected and appointed offices nationwide. We need more strong women like you to join us in our efforts.

At NWPC, you’ll find many ways to make a difference in the fight for women’s rights. We need women of all ages, races and backgrounds to get involved and help us gain strength in numbers.

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT

Laura Loyacono, president of the Greater Kansas City Women’s Political Caucus, has been involved with NWPC since 2001. Fun fact: During her senior year of college, Loyacono did an internship with a new and little-known freshman state legislator, Claire McCaskill. McCaskill later became a US Senator (2007-2019).

50 YEARS OF WORK

Why get INVOLVED?

As a women, most likely you have faced inequality, whether in the workplace, in school or even at home. You might have struggled with:

  • Being treated equal to men
  • Trying to get equal pay for the work you do
  • Needing family planning or abortion services
  • Finding affordable child care or dependent care

These issues can be challenged and changed through political action. The more women involved in NWPC, the greater chance we have to effect change.
